About Christine of Living of Bipolar Disorder

Welcome. If you've found your way to my website, please accept my heartfelt respect for the pain you're likely feeling. I'm also grateful for the opportunity to connect with you here.

My name is Christine Donohue, and I have bipolar disorder. My passion is to help you or someone you care about who is suffering.

From my own painful experience, I know how difficult and often hopeless this might feel. I also know the significant growth that can result from it and how valuable it will be in the end.

By sharing my own story, I hope to inspire you to live the fulfilling life I know is inside each of us.

I have tried various methods to help my recovery; CBT, DBT, EMDR, ECT, exercise, and talk therapy. I have taken lessons from all of these multiple programs.   The one thing I have found that always helps is having a strong support system as a protective factor in my life.

One of my goals in creating this space is that it will bring you some hope. You are not alone. And the only way out is through.
