Medication Changes

Updated: Aug 4, 2022

I am very open with my psychiatrist about my moods and willing to entertain various medication changes to feel better.
Sometimes it is necessary to make medication changes to achieve stability.

Yesterday I had a phone session with my psychiatrist and he made medication changes due to my lingering depression. I usually place a lot of hope on changing medications around. There are so many options that a doctor has available. And my doc is almost always ready to work with me and make changes that not only make medical sense but that are valid to me too. Although still in a depression, I also have hope that this new medication regime will show positive results. And I know that if this combination doesn't work for me, there are other possible mixtures that will. Even though I am twenty years into this relationship with taking medication daily, I still have hope when a change is made to help.

Take good care,

Christine
